Thanks for the reply bartonmd; I looked all over for a button or a place to put a hex wrench on the shifter.
I didn’t see anything.
Is there another place that I should look? Or does the 2004 Envoy Denali not have one.

I don't think the Envoy's got traction control until 2006. At least my non-denali 2005 does not have traction control nor a button for it.

I believe the traction control came about when they went to the 4 wheel abs sensors instead of only using 3 sensors.

... then you do have the button on the shifter, to turn off the traction control and stabilitrac... Unless you've got an aftermarket shifter or something, it's there...

I might be wrong but these vehicles are using a fly-by-wire throttle system where the throttle is not directly connected to anything under the hood. The computer relays to the motor what you want and the PMC determines if you should have it.
