power seat fore-aft switch inop

I have 2003 Envoy, in which the driver pwr seat fore-aft switch doesnt work.
I also have designated driver option, which when actvated, does move seat fore-aft as set. I'm ready to resolve, have switch trim removed, switch detached, and looking for guidance as to where to proceed.

I was able to find the source of my problem and correct it.
For the benefit of others that are experiencing same problem, try this first...
Remove switch trim from side of seat, (3 phillips head screws).
Remove switch asm. from trim piece.
Remove elec. connector from switch asm.
Remove back of switch using slim screwdriver or blade.
A number of rectangular plastic pieces with 5 nubs or protrusions will be visible. inspect for a broken nub where it engages with fore-aft switch. In my case, a nub had broken off and was still in switch. I removed broken nub, removed affected rectangular piece, reversed it so a "good" nub would align with switch and re-assembled everything.
Thank God for the ability to reason and for his many blessings! :hail:
While I recognize that this may not work in all instances, I would suggest looking here first. Good Luck.
