I am having trouble with my 2005 Trailblazer.

I recently had a bad battery that I changed. After that my trailblazer idles around 600 RPM. If I drive it for a short distance it will stall when I come to a stop. It starts back up fine but will choke back down and die again. The only way I keep it running is to keep the gas pedal pushed down some.

Please help me out.

Thanks

When you disconnected the battery you reset the PCM. Cleaning the throttle body is needed. I think 3-4 cold/heat cycles will let the PCM relearn how to run with a dirty throttle body but it should be cleaned.

I cleaned the throttle body in about 20 minutes. I think that may have done the trick.....( I hope)
