05 Envoy SLT LOC install

I have an 05 Envoy with the Bose system, I will be installing subs and an amp... would there be a huge issue if I just tap into the speaker wires in the B pillar? or to avoid any issues do i NEED to go from the amp?

You simply need to tap post-amp.... and the b-pillar is post-amp.

ok great, thank you... I know its extra wires to be run but it seems alot less invasive than taking the passenger rear apart....

tapping before the amp will get you a clean line level signal, do it behind the headunit or at oem amp. hell you dont even need a line out converter just splice rca's in. its a much cleaner unmolested signal
