There are hydrocarbons in the oil... Now I will check the threads on head gaskets i suppose.

Hydrocarbons in the oil is normal. Hydrocarbon gases in the coolant system in not normal. Did you do a hydrocarbon test on the cooling system? If so did it come up positive for hydrocarbons? If so, then it's definitely a head gasget. c good

Please start a new thread and include which engine, mileage, what DTCs are present, any other recent work performed, etc.
