03 TB ETX/LT tail lights

would anyone be able to tell me I am able to swap out my OEM TB tail lights for the Envoy. Reason being is I do highway construction and I need an amber lense for my strobes. As we all know the TB has 2 sets of red and 1 white. Or would anyone know where I can get some advanced tail lights that may have an amber lense or maybe all clear lenses? I can work with all clear being that my strobes are amber.

Envoy taillights won't work. Not even close. Park next to one sometime and you will see the difference in the rear quarterpanel where the taillight sits.

Maybe you could get some amber vinyl from a place such as www.rvinyl.com and make your own.
thanks for the info some very useful stuff
Mount your strobes in the reverse lt pod on your tails

:iagree:I think this is easiest option.
legally i cannot have any other color but amber flashing. Its not a problem on the highway cause the highway patrol know me its just when im driving city streets and they r on it can become an issue because of vehicle traffic law.
You need to get ahold of some Japan spec Trailblazer tails. They have an amber lens for the turn. I'll try to find a pic.
I agree with joe and dave that those are pretty much your only option if you need an amber lense; we had a member selling a set a little bit ago but i just checked the classified section and it is no longer there; i also check e-bay and came up empty; but could you get a set off ebay that has a clear lense and put an amber flasher behind it?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Or, if TB's were spec'd for Europe, they might come with 2 white lenses or the Japanese ones (the one below has plates from the Netherlands).

Now, where are the strobes needed? because you might be able to get the ones that go on the rear window and use some suction cups. What about the bumper reflectors or the hitch?
:coffeeIs it me or doe's it have one back-up light only?

they can come with both reverse lights or one reverse light and one rear fog light...

depends on the country
One rear fog light? Sounds like a large black-out drive light!
Seems like for some countries you can get a red light and a white one. If I'm right, that bottom lense can be changed.
