Hello everybody, over the past year I have been building my 2007 Trailblazer for the sole purpose of being a beast on the trail, throughout this post I will be discussing everything that I have found to work and everything that doesn't work for the truck. I have tried to keep everything as...

Back in October of 2021 I, with the help of a friend, installed a lift kit on my 06 trailblazer. It was supposed to be 3in. in the front and 2 in. in the rear (I got 2in. all the way around cause Ebay but that's besides the point). When we did this lift I also bought a new set of Bilstein shocks...

I have to admit a little something. I've probably gone just a smidge overboard in making my Envoy my own. I have a six inch body lift sitting on top of a 3" suspension lift. I just recently put some super bad ass tires on it and man I'm telling you it looks good. However, I'm now faced with...

I own a 2006 Trailblazer LT 4.2L 4WD. I'm looking to put some premium shocks/struts in the front as my family loves the size and comfort of the suv. Any new products people are putting in their trailblazers for front suspensions? New guy here :)

Hello gentlemen and ladies… I'm a new/recent owner of a 2008 Trailblazer and new to the forum…glad I found you. I'm inclined to do most of my own repairs and maintenance, but need lots of sound advice given that I haven't turned a single wrench on her to date. So...I'm pretty certain I need...

Hello All, Anyone know or have a walk through for replacing the front struts and rear shocks on a 2002 Envoy? I am also having some issues deciding what to go with. See below. I recently purchased an 2002 Envoy SLT with 135k on it. I have redone all four rotors and pads, all new BFG All...

Hello all... I have MC 2.5" Leveling kit on my car right now. When I go traveling with luggage, or have 3 friends in the back. The back end drops down a lot. And I am tired of that haha. I have been trying to read around and get a better understanding of what the different brands offer, do...

I have a worn Bushing in my Control Arm on the Driver's Front -- 2003 Trailblazer 4x4 LT SWB First, is it safe to drive if you know it's worn out? I tried to tighten it, but the bolt was tight. I need to know if I can replace just the Bushing with simple tools, or if I need a press to do...

Hi folks, Been doing some research on upgrading/replacing components on my wife's '04 Envoy SLE (non-XL, I6, no air suspension). Chief complaint is, after 75k miles, that the truck "wallows" over bumps, particularly, say, going in/out a parking apron unevenly. This is the wife's winter ride -...

Well, the TB's got around 64,000 miles and the ride's getting a little mushy... it feels like I'm driving a waterbed. All that bouncing around makes my passengers think I'm a crappy driver, and I will not stand for that. I ordered the Bilstein shocks from Shockwarehouse a few days ago...

Howdy, have an 03 TrlBlzr EXT V6. Need to replace the shocks. A few questions... 1. How do I tell if the front are struts or shocks? Honestly, I don't know... 2. Billstein or Monroe? 3. In my reading, I understand that there is a "top mount" assembly for the front shocks, is that also...

My truck has 76k on it, it seems to be swaying and bouncing too much now. I inspected things and the front sway bushings look beat, and the rear end is very bouncy. What have you had to replace on yours, and are the front sway bar bushings available at Autozone or do I have to go OEM?

My 04 LS seems bouncy now, wife has been driving it and I got back in it and agree it seems bouncy. if we need highway shocks is Monroe the best bet? I would rather not go to a Chevy dealer as there are no good ones in this area.

I searched and came up empty on replacing rear shocks. Is there a how to on here or am I missing something? I would like to tackle this myself.

I've found complete front strut assemblies (springs, mounting hardware, the works ready to install) from a wholesale parts supplier called "Prime Choice" and I wanted to know if anyone had ever bought their units and installed them? If so, how have they performed? their units are priced at...
