  1. Ignition coil problem.

    2013+ Chevrolet Trailblazer Forum
2003 Trailblazer lt 4.2, cylinder 3 started misfiring a couple weeks ago and I determined the ignition coil for that cylinder went bad by first unplugging #3 coil and noting there was no difference in how rough the engine was running then unplugging #2 to note how much rougher it ran with two...
  2. Second replaced coil pack in one month

    OEM Issues

  3. Cylinder #5 Ignition Coil Bolt

  5. Broken Ignition Coil Bolt

Does anybody have any experience or advice on how to remove a broken ignition coil bolt (cylinder 6). It snapped while I was installing the new coil. Is the bolt required for grounding? If not, could I just place some gasket sealant around the flange of the coil and call it a day?
  6. engine knocking, misfires, rattling rocker arms, oh my

    OEM Issues
It started with my 05 TB turning on the check engine light. I checked the code, and it mentioned something about the knock sensor going off. I checked around and decided to replace the spark plugs in the truck. When that was done, I though everything was fine, except coil pack 4 and 6 didn't...
